Here is my completed BJP for October. I struggled a bit with the lower left corner. That being said, in honor of today's election, I am calling it complete.
I include the poem I wrote during Robin's Bead Journal class. I'm not much of a poet but this method strongly influenced my piece. Writing the poem gave focus to my thoughts and helped me to translate those thoughts into my embroidery.
Spirit
I am Spirit.
I live to be happy
though sometimes I cry.
though sometimes I cry.
I sing joyful in the morning.
I dance playful in the day.
I dance playful in the day.
My spirit bubbles up like a fountain
that cannot be contained by my
self-judgment.
My embroidery flows through me
and urges my spirit on.

I love it! The beading is your poem without words. Going "outside the box" is very cool--it's the joy jumping out. There are lots of techniques her to inspire the rest of us.
